An active life, filled with philanthropy and family, changed in an instant.
Rick is a family man, active in his church, a loving father and husband, and has spent his life giving back where he can and instilling that philosophy in his daughter. That all changed 7 years ago.
During a charity bike ride, raising money for a local homeless organization, Rick noticed a tremor in his left arm. Throughout the charity ride the shaking progressively got worse in addition to intense leg cramping.
Though, like every obstacle he has faced, Rick pushed through to finish the ride.
Now Rick has a new obstacle in his life that he is hoping to overcome…
Tremor-Dominant Parkinson’s Disease.
Rick is one of the millions globally who suffers from tremors related to Parkinson’s Disease. His case is so severe he is unable to sleep, converse without pain, and can no longer participate in the activities he loves with his family.
